The posting may close early due to the volume of applicants. • Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a Support Specialist II for the Asset Movement, External Transfers Department, and the Mutual Fund & ACAT Transfer Team. Asset Movement (AM) capability is essential, as it enables transactions on behalf of clients to securely and confidently move cash and securities into, out of, and between accounts at the firm. This movement supports clients' saving, investing, borrowing, spending, and gifting needs, and facilitates strategies aligned with their financial goals. Asset movement should be an easy, modern, and efficient experience that complements the branch and client experience and enables value and optimal relationship building. The Support Specialist II will take on the responsibilities outlined below, along with other duties as assigned. + Plan and execute projects, enhancements, and processes, including the launch of new products or product partners and enhancements to existing tools and systems. + Serve as a key contact for requirement identification and verification for new products and tools. + Lead testing of enhancements and upgrades, including identification, tracking of issues, and implementation of solutions. + Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with leaders across multiple divisions. + Adopt processes for risk controls (e.g., Privacy, Business Continuity Planning, Record Information Management, Written Supervisory Procedures) and coordinate with departments to complete applicable requirements. + Collaborate with Firm Analytics to leverage data for insights and reporting to inform business decisions and communicate results. + Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex and confidential data. + Broadening and deepening subject matter expertise in assigned product area(s) of emphasis. + Share knowledge to help develop other associates. What You Will Do Problem Solving Address problems and decisions that are both routine and occasionally unique, with an intermediate level of complexity. + Act as an intermediary with branches, clients, product partners/vendors, or internal departments to resolve issues. + Analyze issues from multiple stakeholder perspectives to determine the best possible outcomes for clients, partners, and the firm. + Apply critical thinking and sound judgment to determine when escalation to a senior associate, leader, or Partner is appropriate. Decision Making: + Make routine decisions independently, with responsibility expanding into more complex and non-routine matters. + Evaluate multiple issues and consequences when resolving technical challenges and assessing impacts to stakeholders (IS, end users, clients, etc.). + Participate in collaborative decision-making with peers, leaders, and Partners for more complex matters. + Learn and follow established precedents, procedures, and guidelines to support decision-making without higher-level review when appropriate. Span of Influence: + Influence communications related to client-focused projects, tools, platforms, and systems with stakeholders including branches, clients, and product partners/vendors. + Recognize that poor decisions or execution may negatively impact clients, raise compliance issues, or subject the firm to regulatory or arbitration risk. + Provide feedback, coaching, training, and guidance to newer associates.
