Business Senior Analyst - Markets Treasury

The Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals through partnership with decision makers, systems owners and end users
+ Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
+ Analyze business processes, gaps in capabilities, as well as appropriate data sources, interfaces and process changes required to address capability gaps
+ Generate and compile reports based on findings, including probable causes and potential solutions to systems issues
+ Provide advice and counsel related to technology or operations of the business, ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
+ Filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources and perform other duties and functions as assigned
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 5-8 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive and problem-solving techniques
+ Proven interpersonal, diplomatic and influencing skills
+ Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
The Market Treasury Technology team is seeking a business analyst who has diverse product knowledge and has extensive experience of working in the banking industry. The individual will be the interface between business stakeholders and the Development team covering all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to production rollout.
This team works on global applications with regional SMEs, wider technology teams and businesses in different time zones.
**Role Overview/What you will you do:**
+ The Market Treasury Technology team is seeking a business analyst who has diverse product knowledge and has extensive experience of working in the banking industry. The individual will be the interface between business stakeholders and the Development team covering all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirement gathering and the creation of functional requirement documents to production rollout.
+ This role will be responsible for working with the global Market Treasury business – conducting analysis, requirement finalization, designing, planning , Testing and execution under project and program management best practices functions within the Macro Technology Organization, implementing all business-prioritized projects with special focus on Market Treasury business.
+ Partner with Technology teams across Macro and the wider Citi Technology group to leverage best practices to drive quality across the software development life cycle.
+ Be involved in full project life cycle, ensure new developments provide anticipated functionality and current functionality is unaffected as these are critical trade booking systems for the Treasury.
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members and Interact with Trading desks, Business managers, Operations, PCU, Market Risk, Operations teams to understand and record requirements and execute project plans and all steps of end-to-end process.
+ Implement Global requirements for Market Treasury business, Participate actively with Development design and deliver the projects/solutions on time with high quality under planned budget.
+ work with development teams to implement business functionalities across the globe in Market Treasury Technology systems, this involves coordinating with Regional Business managers across Asia/EMEA/NA/LATAM regions, understand the requirements, managing the expectations and delivering the changes within the timelines agreed.
+ Participate in Testing /QA and Results review to build the a next Gen Product that delivers to client and user expectations and stakeholders without any issues.
+ Collaborate and Partner closely with program managers, development leads, test leads and production support teams to ensure that software is tested and implemented to highest quality.
+ Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated and unique situations and contribute to formulation of standards and strategies for own area and other functional areas
+ Candidate should understand and be able to perform analysis on all financial products viz., Money Market, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives and grasp new applications and file formats quickly.
+ The ideal candidate will play a role of technology business analyst and Quality Assurance , with Subject Matter Expertise on Market Treasury business with technical and functional expertise in a Markets and Financial environment, experience in managing Regional/Global projects and programs.
