JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a role where your consultative approach can help businesses discover the right communication solutions? As a Small and Medium Business (SMB) Sales Representative at Spectrum, you will respond to inbound and outbound sales inquiries, crafting tailored proposals for business clients and driving growth through exceptional service. Your expertise will connect customers to Spectrum’s advanced Voice, Data and Video products, delivering real value to organizations and strengthening Spectrum’s market leadership.


How You Will Make an Impact

Respond promptly to inbound sales calls and efficiently meet defined call handling metricsDevelop and present comprehensive sales proposals that address customer needs, maximize revenue opportunities, communicate current marketing campaigns and promotions demonstrating knowledge of competitors’ offerings for product comparison’sMaintain accurate sales activity records and customer information, collaborate with Spectrum Business support teams to complete sales using Spectrum’s databasesRecommend bundled telephony, data and video solutions alongside other Spectrum products for existing customers, assess client locations for serviceability and obtain construction estimates using company softwareEducate customers on installed products, service options, billing and features to ensure clear understandingStay up to date on technical details of Spectrum Business services and solutions, including telephony, data, wireless and videoConsistently achieve monthly sales goals through a consultative, call-flow driven approach, attend ongoing training sessions on products and serviceFollow up on customer requests via phone or email to ensure satisfaction

What You Will Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization (GED)

Experience

Proven track record as a high performing sales professional with sustained results

Skills

Read, write, speak and understand EnglishWorking knowledge of cable communications products and services including video, data and voiceStrong customer service, professionalism and courtesy throughout sales transactionsHandle multiple tasks simultaneously such as listening, answering questions and order entryAble to work variable hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

2+ years sales experience preferably selling Voice, Data and Video solutions in the small and mid-sized business market2+ years Call Center sales experience preferably in a business-to-business and/or telecommunications industry

The base pay for this position generally is between $18.00 and $22.30. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.


In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $23,400.
