As a Business Service Activation Specialist at Spectrum, you’ll play a key role in guiding customers through the order process, coordinating service activation, and ensuring every interaction meets our high standards. Your work will directly improve customer satisfaction and drive successful business outcomes at Spectrum.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Support Spectrum customers by managing incoming calls, website inquiries and emails to process and complete service orders for cable, internet, voice and mobileCoordinate with internal teams and partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for all sales leadsEvaluate and correct work orders to guarantee operational soundness and proper billing, preventing duplicate or inaccurate ordersManage work queues and dashboards to schedule or reschedule orders, maintaining alignment with Spectrum’s policies and standardsCommunicate clearly with customers and partners across multiple channels, resolving inquiries and handling exceptions before installationApply Spectrum’s business rules and guidelines to uphold the integrity of work orders and drive completion ratesDocument best practices, share insights with your team and contribute ideas for continual improvement

Required Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

2+ years of customer service or sales experience

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishAbility to prioritize and organize tasks effectivelyProficient with computers and software applicationsCapable of working independently within a team settingSkilled in resolving customer complaints and issuesComfortable handling prolonged periods of seated, back-to-back callsClear, professional oral and written communicationUnderstanding of cable, high-speed internet and telephone servicesFamiliarity with general accounting and billing proceduresKnowledgeable about office procedures and Spectrum policiesAble to troubleshoot service issuesAwareness of residential product information, packaging, pricing and current offers
