The RTX Business Resilience & Crisis Management (BRCM) team within Global Security Services (GSS) oversees the design, development, and maintenance of the RTX BRCM Program, ensuring the organization is prepared to respond to and recover from emergencies, disruptions, and crises.
The P&W BRCM Senior Manager reports to the P&W BRCM leader and provides operational support for resiliency efforts, coordinating emergency preparedness, response, and continuity processes. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with site teams, leaders, and enterprise groups. Success hinges on achieving objectives through matrixed reporting with stakeholders.
This fully remote, US-based role operates on East Coast hours and supports global sites, teams, and programs. 24/7 on-call availability for crises is required.
What You Will Do:
Program Management – 20%
Contribute to the design, implementation, and strategy of the P&W BRCM Program globally.Identify maturity opportunities and foster partnerships for long-term program success.Build relationships with stakeholders across global sites and functional teams.Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate threats to resiliency.Maintain program documentation on intranet/SharePoint sites.Business Continuity – 40%
Conduct risk assessments and BIAs, establishing RTOs and resource needs.Develop and implement continuity plans and integrate them into risk assessments.Escalate recovery gaps, risks, and concerns, ensuring alignment with industry focus.Create a testing framework for recovery plans with key stakeholders.Support testing of workplace, workforce, third-party, and technology recovery strategies.Assist with audits by providing plans, controls, and testing results.Track and mitigate issues while analyzing data to identify risks and trends.Foster collaboration between security, risk, crisis, and resiliency teams for integrated solutions.Advise executive leaders on continuity risks and mitigation strategies.Crisis Management – 20%
Create training materials, templates, and guides for consistency across the organization.Integrate threat assessments into risk evaluations to mitigate event risks.Participate in Incident Management/Support Team meetings to align strategies.Distribute seasonal readiness and safety materials to enhance awareness.Follow policies aligned with industry standards, incorporating plan updates and training.Manage P&W’s mass notification system, including testing, training, and updates.Support site teams in developing and updating emergency management plans.Promote tools and templates to clarify roles during crises.Plan and conduct crisis management training and exercises.Emergency Response – 15%
Activate Incident Support and Operational Resilience Teams during disruptions.Use notification tools to ensure timely, accurate communication in emergencies.Collaborate with site and business teams for aligned response efforts.Prepare situational updates during crises and after-action reports for improvement.Misc. Duties/Others – 5%
Stay updated on industry best practices through professional development and training.Represent P&W at industry events to build relationships and share insights on resilience.Support research initiatives to enhance resiliency strategies, tools, and processes.Perform other duties as needed to support the BRCM program and organizational goals.Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree + 10 years (or master’s + 7 years) in crisis/emergency management, resilience, disaster recovery, or business continuity.Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment.Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in resilience within regulated industries (e.g., financial services).Proficiency with resiliency software and emergency notification systems.Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis/presentation tools).Experience managing the business continuity lifecycle, including testing BIAs, BCPs, and DRPs.Understanding of operational resiliency in manufacturing, aerospace, and defense.Knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery integration.Experience with project management methodologies and/or data analytics tools.Analytical mindset with leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including creating visuals and delivering training.Comfort with public speaking and instruction in virtual and in-person settings.Expertise in developing tailored training for senior-level audiences.In-depth knowledge of crisis management and business continuity frameworks.Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure, effectively manage challenging situations, and leverage appropriate resources.Experience managing crises in international contexts or across multiple jurisdictions.Professional certifications in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Organizational Resilience, Operational Resilience, Risk Management, Project Management, or related disciplines (e.g., ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, AEM, CEM, CBCI, PMP).Additional languages are a plus, with a preference for French or Polish.Learn More and Apply:

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
