Business Relationship Manager (Operations Manager)

The Business Relationship Manager who will be responsible for serving as a liaison to the customer business units ensuring that program provided solutions meet mission owner needs. The customer Business Units have a broad geographical footprint and complex challenges. In addition, a key role will be to provide critical input into IT support strategy. The successful candidate will bring significant customer knowledge and technical experience that will blend together forming an insightful and credible view of the customer.
Must be U.S. citizen and possess an active Secret clearance.
HOW A OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Manages the day-to-day operations of tasks in assigned program area including technical work, staff supervision, financial and business development activities.
● Propose and offer guidance on improved use of technology to improve customer mission objectives, business operations efficiencies, and cost improvements
● Develop partnerships with the customer, internal to the company, and externally and provide clear and concise communication on the application of technology and innovative solutions
● Lead activities to improve customer intimacy and knowledge
● Review emerging technologies, innovations, and trends and evaluate based on customer needs to provide insight for potential adoption
● Provide customer based guidance and direction on all technology and innovation interventions
● Assess functions, limitations, opportunities and challenges of technology based on customer technology and culture
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● 15+ years’ of Federal Customer based experience
● 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the management and operation of large-scale, enterprise IT and telecommunication services
● Demonstrated experience in DoD infrastructure and network operations
● Strong cross-functional, generalist skillset to engage with internal and external partners
● Superior problem-solving and synthesis skills, strong presentation skills and ability to communicate with senior leaders
● Strong analytical skills with confidence distilling data into actionable insights, with comfort in quantitative modelling
● Comfortable facilitating project planning, generating critical insights and delivering effective communication
● Ability to work well in a distributed, multi-cultural fast paced environment
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Location: Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $158,100 - $213,900. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
