The Role

We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) to act as a strategic bridge between the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Country President for the Japan Market. This role ensures that technology goals are closely aligned with evolving business priorities, driving innovation, operational excellence, and measurable business value. The BRM will lead and inspire digital transformation, foster strong executive relationships, and translate business strategies into actionable technology initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison between the CIO organisation and Spain Market leadership, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives.Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and fostering collaboration.Translate business strategies into actionable technology roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes.Drive adoption of CIO technology solutions and champion digital transformation efforts across the market.Oversee the portfolio of technology projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and strategic alignment.Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success and proactively manage risks.Lead organisational change initiatives to support new technologies and processes.Act as an advocate for innovation, identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies for competitive advantage.


Who You Are

QualificationsStrategic Thinking & Business Acumen – Ability to align IT initiatives with business priorities and anticipate market trends.Relationship Building & Influence – Skilled at fostering trust and collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups.Communication & Negotiation – Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior leadership.Change Management – Expertise in guiding organisations through technology-driven transformation.Analytical & Problem-Solving – Ability to assess complex challenges and develop innovative solutions.

RequiredBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).Minimum 7 years’ experience in business relationship management, IT consulting, or similar leadership roles.Proven track record in digital transformation, business process improvement, and enterprise IT environments.Strong portfolio and project management skills. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.Demonstrated success collaborating with business leaders to implement impactful technology solutions.Fluency in English and Japanese.

DesiredProfessional certifications such as ITIL Foundations, PMP, or BRM Professional Certification.Experience working in multinational or matrix organisations.Familiarity with emerging technologies and digital platforms.
