Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in finance focus on providing financial advice and strategic guidance to clients, helping them optimise their financial performance and make informed business decisions. These individuals handle financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

In our Business Recovery Services (“BRS”) practice at PwC, you will act on behalf of companies and individuals when they are facing insolvency or acute financial distress. You will work with our highly skilled team to help businesses execute turnaround strategies or address issues before they escalate or assist in exploring options, minimising losses, and maximising returns during insolvency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working individual to join our Connected Tax and Accountancy Services (“CTAS”) department at PwC Gibraltar, with a particular specialism in BRS. You will be primarily working with our close-knit BRS team to create value for our clients and their stakeholders. Within BRS, you can expect to work on interesting and varied projects, with specific tasks including: 

Overseeing our insolvency portfolio; 

Preparation of insolvency reports; 

Investigatory work and liaising with third parties for information; 

Assisting our legal team from an accounting perspective; 

Conducting members voluntary liquidations with the support of your wider team; and 

Acting as a flexible resource for the rest of our CTAS department, thus being involved in complex tax and accountancy advisory work. Those in accounting at PwC will focus on managing financial records, analysing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making.
