Business Program Manager

As part of Windows & Device Sales (WDS) organization, Device Partner Sales (DPS) plays a critical role in achieving this mission. We build, market and sell breakthrough AI-powered devices and cloud experiences with partners, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), device distribution and reseller channels, Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and Silicon providers. We work closely with partners and internal business groups to build innovative devices that harness the power of the Microsoft cloud, introduce innovative new AI experiences, and transform how we sell devices and services. Opportunities in DPS are expansive. We span the entire product lifecycle from incubation, prototyping, and portfolio planning to the device design, and selling them through the Retail, Distribution and Reseller channel, sell-through to their consumer and commercial customers. You will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and growth of Windows devices and AI services in partnership with the strength of our device partners ecosystem. As a Business Program Manager for DPS internal systems strategy and execution, you will oversee site operations, security, and vision of several internal sites and applications as well as drive the redesign of the landscape identifying innovative solutions to organizational challenges and unlocking integration opportunities across systems and partner teams. Responsibilities include building multi-year roadmap, operations process management and improvements, and overseeing capacity and work performance for a vendor team. This role acts as a trusted advisor to DPS business planning, DPS leadership, and to internal Microsoft users such as field sellers and marketers, driving clarity and impact across the team. The role puts users first, leveraging UI and process standards, readiness best practices, and training that deliver results on time and on budget. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** 1. **Lead and evolve the internal tools ecosystem** , driving redesign efforts that address organizational needs and enable seamless integration across systems and partner teams. 2. **Develop and implement a multi-year roadmap** for internal tools and applications, balancing strategic vision with input from stakeholders, leadership, and end users. 3. **Ensure reliable and secure operations** of internal sites and applications, maintaining performance and compliance with Microsoft’s Secure Future Intiaitve 4. **Manage vendor partnerships** , aligning team capacity and performance with roadmap priorities, quality standards, and budget considerations. 5. **Serve as a trusted advisor** to DPS leadership and business planning teams, offering insights and recommendations that promote clarity, alignment, and measurable impact. 6. **Champion inclusive, user-centered design and readiness** , applying UI standards, training best practices, and change management strategies to support successful adoption and engagement. 7. **Drive continuous improvement** , identifying and implementing process enhancements that improve user experience and business outcomes **Qualifications** **Required/minimum qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement + OR equivalent experience. + 2 + years experience leading internal tools strategy and execution, including planning, scaling, and integrating business-critical applications to support operational excellence and cross-functional alignment. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 8+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement + OR equivalent experience. + Demonstrated expertise in managing secure, permission-sensitive websites and tools. + Ability to develop and execute multi-year roadmaps, balancing strategic vision with input from diverse stakeholders, leadership, and end users. + Strong understanding of internal system architecture and integrations, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions. + Analytical, creative problem solver with entrepreneurial approach. + Demonstrated success in vendor management, including capacity planning, performance oversight, and budget alignment. + Excellent communication and consultative skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and driving cross-functional alignment. + Commitment to security and compliance, with familiarity in applying Microsoft’s Secure Future Initiative principles to tools, data, and process design. Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
