Why You’ll Love This Role:

Be at the forefront of transforming DoD contracting operations within the Electronic Contract Writing Module (ECWM) environment. As our primary business process expert and technical advisor, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical development teams and DoD contracting stakeholders. Your comprehensive knowledge and analysis will ensure that our software solutions align seamlessly with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and agency-specific procurement requirements.


Responsibilities:

DoD Contracting Expertise: Provide invaluable DoD contracting knowledge for functional and technical solutions across the Acquisition domain.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand and gather requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.

Process Improvement: Identify and help stakeholders envision current and future-state business processes to support project objectives.

Documentation and Training: Develop and enhance user support documentation, process workflows, and training materials to ensure smooth implementation and user adoption.

PI Planning Events: Attend in-person, quarterly Program Increment (PI) Planning Events at our VA location, contributing to strategic planning and team collaboration.


Qualifications:

Required: 

U.S. Citizenship with eligibility for an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3).

Five (5) years of direct experience in DoD contracting as a GS-1102-12 or above Contract Specialist, or equivalent position.

Relevant certification such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Business Process Management certification.

Bachelor’s degree preferably in IT with 6 years of related experience; or a Master’s with 4 years of experience; an Associate’s or equivalent with 7 years of experience.

Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate with industry partners.

Effective communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook).

Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently.

Strong public speaking skills and a professional demeanor.


Desired:

Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Professional level of certification in Contracting.

Experience in SQL scripting.

Experience with electronic contracting systems (CON-IT, ECWM, FPDS-NG, or similar platforms).

Experience in scrum and agile frameworks, including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and creating user training/support documentation.

Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
