**Job Description** BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a Top Ten Prime Contractor to the Department of War, is hiring a Business Process Mapping Engineer to support our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business. This is a new position that will map all our business processes within CMS. This position can work remotely within the US. We prefer candidates to be located within an hour or two of one of our CMS sites including Sterling Heights, MI; Minneapolis, MN; York, PA; Louisville, KY; Aiken, SC; Anniston, AL. Salary ranges vary by location. As a Business Process Mapping Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the Business Process Models in the Business Management System (BMS) as well as being the gatekeeper for any changes to the published model. You will ensure that any changes do not break any other process models or create orphaned inputs/outputs. You will also be responsible for the administration and maintenance of the tool that the models reside in, including defining/granting access for users, updates to the tool, and coordinating responses to any incidents (downtime, system errors, etc.) with our IT Department (ESS-IT). This position aligns well with our effort to move to a Digital Enterprise by modeling the link between all our Business Processes As a Business Process Mapping Engineer, you will: + Be a resource for consolidating Business Process and work with the Business Process Area owners and key stakeholders. + Help facilitate meetings to gain alignment on reducing redundant documents and ensure our processes are concise and effective. + Find waste and non-value added activities by using the model and using the data to help drive improvement across the organization + Link our BMS Process documentation to the Business Processes themselves to make it easier for employees to find what they need and perform their duties at the right time + Assist in defining and documenting configuration requirements, business rules, functional, and system requirements + Provide group facilitation between multiple functional areas to ensure enterprise-wide integration of business processes. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Typically a bachelor's degree and 6 years relevant experience or the equivalent amount of education and experience. We may consider candidates with additional experience for a more senior role or with fewer years experience for a more junior role. + Prior Business Process Mapping modeling experience, ideally using the BPMN standard + Ability to interface with users across multiple sites and in multiple levels of the organization + Excellent communication skills + Demonstrated problem-solving ability **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or related technical field. + Familiarity with Oracle WebCenter or similar document management system + 6 years of experience in a related environment. + Experience using Prime BPM. + Familiarity with the use of AI assistants to further help analyze and consolidate our documentation + Experience within our CMS business.\#LI-Remote #LI-JR1 **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
