Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $79,400.00 - $119,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Condition Report Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle condition reporting processes, demonstrate exceptional communication skills, and be adept at working within contract guidelines and client requirements. This position requires proficiency in technical applications and a collaborative attitude toward software development and automotive research.

Key Responsibilities

Manage backend technical applications supporting repair pricing, vehicle data description, client repair criteria across multiple systems

Apply comprehensive knowledge of the vehicle condition report process and its related applications.

Review and interpret client contracts to identify requirements and monitor contract updates.

Maintain client ART (Automatic repair table) requirements documentation for consistent reference and effective referral.

Access and utilize AS400 systems efficiently.

Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to support daily operations and reporting tasks.

Communicate clearly and effectively with developer teams, providing detailed requests for user tool updates and additions.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Build and sustain relationships with corporate stakeholders, operations, auctions, regional teams, and clients  

Analyze feedback, process times, and other information to determine roadblocks and possible solutions 

Assist in identifying, designing solutions, planning, and implementing key projects to meet productivity goals, resulting in business improvement and client satisfaction.  

Assist in completing the roadmap of the time frame and achieving goals. 

Instrumental in the development and coordination of the Operations vision and deployment planning as defined by the Executive Team 

Assist in leading cross-team projects and provide individual contributions  

Manage geographically separated resources, including team member engagement, auction, and team member project readiness, playbook onboarding, coaching, skill development, end-to-end deployment support  

Assist in the development of “Centers of Excellence” related to project change management, training, coaching, SOP, Communities of Practice, and Adoption 

Achieve buy-in from stakeholders on design and direction  

Support and audit auction readiness assessment surveys 

Assist Operations to enforce adoption of project standards, supporting documentation, playbooks, and metrics 

Assist in the design, implementation, and tracking of metrics to indicate project impact 

Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives 

Promote, communicate, and champion identified change management, project adoption, SOP practices, communities of practice, and continuous improvement culture across operating units. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and up to 2 years’ experience; or 6 years’ experience in a related field

Experience with business support software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required (Teams, SmartSheet, AS400, IMS, Salesforce preferred) 

Possess an understanding of the automotive industry, i.e., industry structures, key players, competitive dynamics, technological underpinnings 

Possess the ability to develop and present presentations to Corporate and Auction Management  

Ability to work & contribute given broad direction through collaboration 

Display a positive and professional image 

Ability to lead through influence and negotiation 

Highly motivated with a strong work ethic 

Demonstrated bias for action and results 

Ability to handle stress and multiple priorities 

Good analytical skills and aptitude  

Must be able to identify and resolve issues through analysis with proven results proactively 

Excellent people, teamwork, and customer service skills 

Clear and compelling written and verbal communication skills 

Ability to travel up to 25% 

Preferred Qualifications

Background in automotive industry and knowledge of vehicle systems.

Ability to research automotive terms and parts for accurate and comprehensive descriptions in condition report databases.
