As a Business Partner – Performance Management within the DI&A organization, you will act as a strategic enabler to leadership teams by translating business needs into actionable insights. You will drive performance management processes, support forecasting and planning cycles, and support KPI tracking across the organization.

This role is pivotal in shaping data-driven decision-making and aligning DI&A capabilities with business priorities.

 

The Data Insights Business Partner (Analytics Translator) plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Data Analytics and multiple complex business units within the affiliate.

Leveraging advanced data analytics, this role assesses intricate processes, determines comprehensive requirements, and delivers strategic data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.

The Business Partner builds strong partnerships with senior stakeholders across diverse departments, translates complex business questions into actionable analytics solutions, and drives the widespread adoption of these solutions to deliver significant business value. Working closely with various departments, the role facilitates a deep understanding of data, enables informed decision-making, and crafts compelling data narratives.


YOUR TASKS:

Own business performance insight by monitoring results across functions, identifying risks and opportunities, and proactively recommending actions to improve outcomes.Lead performance management enablement, including the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of KPIs, performance review frameworks, and executive dashboards.Be a core partner in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) by delivering data‑driven insights, scenario modeling, and forward‑looking analyses that inform trade‑off decisions.Align forecasts and performance expectations in close partnership with Finance and Commercial teams, ensuring consistency with strategic priorities.Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives that influence senior leadership decisions and shape business direction.Act as the trusted analytics partner for senior stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact on performance analytics, reporting, and strategic insights.Co‑own and steer the analytics roadmap for performance management, ensuring initiatives are tightly aligned with business priorities and market needs.Drive measurable business impact from analytics products, leading adoption, embedding insights into decision processes, and tracking value realization.Lead cross‑functional, agile delivery of analytics solutions, coordinating effectively across business, data, BI, and advanced analytics teams.Integrate and interpret diverse data sources (commercial, consumer, retail audit, financial, and operational) to deliver actionable insights and foresights.Lead advanced analytics initiatives, including scenario design, predictive modeling, and opportunity/risk identification to support strategic choices.Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring analytical solutions are fit‑for‑purpose, scalable, and drive tangible outcomes.Oversee the coordination of business and financial reporting, simplifying workflows and raising the clarity, consistency, and effectiveness of outputs.Champion a data‑driven culture, promoting analytics tools, building stakeholder capability, and increasing data literacy across the organization.

 

YOUR PROFILE:

Personal:

Proven experience in performance management, financial planning, or business / commercial analytics.Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in BI tools and data visualization platforms.Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.Experience working in agile environments and delivering iterative value.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with internal planning cycles and DI&A operating models.Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.Successful shown experience in business analysis, commercial analytics, or strategy roles, ideally in FMCG, Consumer goods, or Consulting.Demonstrated Capability to direct intricate analyses and convert data into strategic business insights.Strong communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements for analytics and reporting.Proficient in Power BI and SQL; experience with Snowflake and Python is a big plus.University degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.High learning agility, proactive approach, and a focus on finding effective solutions.Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

 

 

Technical:

Minimum 12 months in current role with consistent responsibilities.Internal applicants (PMI employees or contracted employees) must meet tenure requirements.Completed studies in economics or business administration or alternative education with relevant practical experience.At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing, sales, or finance.Strong business acumenFlexibility and Mobility – As this is a developmental role, a high degree of flexibility is essential regarding future positions within DI&A, potentially including opportunities in other markets.Profound experience in cross-functional projects and excellent project management skills.High understanding of financial and commercial metrics.Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Power BI, PowerPoint, and Excel.Fluent English, both spoken and written.
