Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Business Partner – Learning and Development (Process), to design and deliver training programs that enhance the knowledge, skills and competencies of learners, and to maintain training records and other related documents. This role will be reporting to the Senior Trainer - Mining/Operations.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

Designs and implements comprehensive learning and development strategies aligned with organizational goals, utilizing advanced methodologies and technologiesManages the learning environment in a way that enhances learner experienceDelivers constructive feedback that guidesMaintains an organized records such as work instructions, audit reports, management reviews and other documents/ records relevant to Quality Management, for easy retrievalConducts training sessions, workshops, and webinars, utilizing various delivery methods, such as classroom training, e-learning, and blended learning approaches.Collaborates with subject matter experts, internal trainers, and external training providers to design and deliver specialized training programs

Four or five-year degree graduateAt least 2 years relevant training experience as a trainer and in a similar role within the training environment.Minimum of 2 years experiences on Crushing, Grinding, Flotations, Filtration, Gravity Concentration and Goldroom, Paste Backfill Plant, Mobile Equipment OperationLTO Driver’s LicensePRC license is highly regardedAdditional certifications such as Training Methodology 1 (TM1), Workplace Trainer Certificate IV, and Workplace Assessors Certificate IV is a plusTechnical Knowledge on Mineral Processing and Operation, Maintenance or MetallurgyHigh level of enthusiasm for the work with high performance goals
