Business Operations Specialist – JLL

What this job involves: As a Business Operations Specialist at JLL, you will support our facilities management and finance operations by combining accounting expertise with vendor management responsibilities to ensure seamless financial operations and service delivery for our commercial real estate portfolio. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial coding, managing work order systems, and ensuring compliance with company documentation policies while delivering superior customer service to internal clients and stakeholders. You will play a key part in JLL's operational excellence by bridging accounting functions with vendor coordination to support our comprehensive real estate services.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• You will address inquiries and resolve complex matters related to quotes, work orders, and invoicing in partnership with the Finance team according to established SLAs

• You will manage and oversee work orders within Corrigo system, ensuring complete data entry and monitoring lifecycle from initiation through completion

• You will create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for JLL service provider partners and collaborate with finance team on monthly reporting

• You will partner with sourcing team to ensure vendor ISN compliance and assist with new vendor setup in JLL's vendor management system

• You will schedule vendor support for repairs, maintenance, and work requests while tracking service requests through completion

• You will review vendor submissions for completeness and accuracy, enforcing company policies regarding documentation requirements

• You will conduct regular audits of vendor documentation and train vendors on proper procedures and system requirements

Required Qualifications:

• You must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• You must have 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or vendor management

• You must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management

• You must possess excellent communication and customer service skills

• You must have proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• You must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• You must demonstrate problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• You should have experience in commercial real estate or facilities management

• You should have knowledge of vendor compliance requirements (ISN preferred)

• You should have experience with purchase order systems and procurement processes

• You should have understanding of Service Level Agreements and performance metrics

• You should demonstrate collaborative approach with cross-functional teams and adaptability in fast-paced environments
