Business Operations Manager—Meetings and Events is responsible for overseeing and delivering various projects within the M&E program. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will focus on producing high-quality project deliverables while ensuring efficient resource allocation and team capacity management.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple M&E projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverablesBuilds relationships with key stakeholders to collect internal customer needs.Manage resource allocation across projects, optimizing team capacity and capabilitiesDevelop and maintain project plans and schedulesAssess impact of upcoming projects and initiatives on team capacity and capabilitiesConduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to key stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate project risks and issuesCommunicates with M&E Client Leadership and assists with program management and initiative implementation. Ensures effective information flows up and down the teamManages special projects

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelor's DegreeExperience in project management required3-5 years of corporate industry experience, Meetings & Events background strongly preferredProven ability to interact with C-Level managementExperience supporting a program with multiple stakeholders, evaluating existing systems and processes within own discipline in order to support the businessPrevious experience with international and virtual team membersStrong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business casesDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other business, product and tech teamsInnovative, hands-on, results-oriented mentality, great use of process improvements and ability to meet tight deadlines

Additional Details

Travel will be required up to 10%, including domestic and internationalMust comply with a return to office policy of 5 days a weekLocation: Seattle, Arlington, or Dallas

Estimated total compensation for this position:

108,500.00 – 157,300.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
