We are searching for the best talent for a **Business Operations Manager, JLABS Europe located London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)** . This growing team is looking for a colleague inspired to help build and innovate new ways of fostering a productive life-science ecosystem. The Business Operations Manager is responsible for leading and supporting sourcing, portfolio management and for developing, monitoring, and analyzing KPIs across all operational areas. This role will help drive key initiatives and strategic long-term goals through scheduled tracking and reporting to create visibility of these metrics across the organization. As part of a small and focused team, each person working at JJI plays a critical role. The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through the effective management of day-to-day Business Operations, accountable for planning, organizing, and providing timely responses to inquiries, and resolving issues. The Business Operations Manager will work in partnership with the Head of JLABS Europe, and the Global Sr. Director of Strategy & Operations to support the mission of JLABS Europe, including, but not limited to compliance, budget management, and reporting. In this role, the Business Operations Manager is responsible for engaging in a cross-functional team and supporting operational and financial compliance. _Are you ready to join our team? Then please read further!_ **You will be responsible for:** + **Operational Standards** : Implement and maintain operational standards, encompassing policies, procedures, processes, and protocols, to ensure compliance, effectiveness, and efficiency. + **Compliance Driving** : Proactively promote operational and financial compliance by defining and tracking processes, promoting governance, and achieving KPI objectives and goals. + **Contract Management** : Oversee contract management, payment processing, and financial forecasting to support business planning efforts. + **Onboarding Facilitation** : Facilitate the onboarding process for new companies and deliver training on the Juniverse platform. + **CEO Members Forum Management** : Manage the IT platform, ensuring seamless integration for members. + **Partnership Operations** : Oversee the operational components of potential partnerships with third parties in the European region. + **Data Systems Development** : Develop or apply IT-based systems (algorithms) to analyze data sets, including reviewing and forecasting inquiries and applications. + **Data Issue Resolution** : Address data issues across systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting. + **Relationship Building** : Foster strong relationships with key operational leadership by understanding their goals and business objectives, leveraging data to enhance their results. + **Opportunity Identification** : Collaborate with internal teams and prospective companies to assess and prioritize opportunities. + **Market Analysis** : Analyze healthcare market trends and industry landscapes, developing actionable insights and recommendations based on research. + **Data Capture Enhancement** : Work on strategies to capture data more efficiently over time to ensure sustainable processes. + **KPI Definition** : Establish critical success factors and key performance indicators (KPI) for processes. + **Trend Analysis** : Analyze trends, causes, and variances, producing routine and ad-hoc reports as needed. + **Ad Hoc Reporting** : Responsible for developing and generating ad hoc reports related to metrics and strategic initiatives. + **Metric Analysis** : Conduct analyses of metrics to identify trends and urgent issues, escalating concerns to management, as necessary. + **Continuous Improvement** : Apply insights from reports and analytics to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the operations organization. + **Improvement Initiatives** : Take initiative to identify and suggest continuous improvement projects, utilizing technology to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. + **Resource Hub Management** : Manage the Resource Hub for Europe. + **Cross-Regional Interaction** : Proactively engage with JLABS teams across APAC, Regional, and Global sectors. + **Event Engagement** : Demonstrate willingness to participate in external events as required. **Qualifications / Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. + 5-8 years in the life sciences industry, including at least 5 years in business development, sourcing, and data management! + Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, PowerPivot) and experience with Power BI. + Familiarity with Salesforce is required. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate actionable insights through data visualization. + Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to investigating anomalies. + Preferred experience in project/process management, vendor management, and budget oversight. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset. + Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
