Business Manager- Material Testing & Environmental Solutions Sales

Product Line : Material Testing Solutions (Chambers)

Key Responsibilities

Assign revenue targets to the sales team aligned with overall business growth objectives and support them in achieving targets. Set clear expectations on pipeline sufficiency and forecast accuracy; conduct weekly reviews and implement corrective actions where required. Formulate and execute business strategies to drive sales growth, including: Expanding market coverage Entering new applications and industries Developing solutions-based business offerings Ensure effective financial management of the sales function by: Driving cost optimization initiatives Maximizing profitability through strategic planning Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to: Pilot new ideas and demonstrate proof of concept (POC) Ensure seamless coordination for billing and execution Define product positioning strategies and support the sales team in: Creating compelling value propositions Contributing to marketing collateral and content development Continuously evaluate market approaches and refine strategies to align with evolving customer needs while adhering to corporate values and ethics. Strengthen team capability by: Providing training and mentoring Driving motivation and performance improvement Enhancing overall team effectiveness and productivity

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Achieve booking and billing targets for both self and team in line with assigned revenue goals. Maintain a minimum 100% pipeline sufficiency for a rolling 3-month period to ensure sustained business flow. Ensure monthly forecast accuracy of at least 90%, with regular tracking and corrective actions where required. Develop and monitor new business metrics, including: New customer acquisition Expansion into new industries Development of new applications Onboarding of new technology partners Growth in solutions-based business Drive and track key growth initiatives across each product line, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and measurable outcomes.
