Business Manager - Factory Automation

**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
**Market Research and Analysis**
+ Collect feedback from end-users (Automotive, medical, tire, robotics etc.) and extract electric actuator product needs.
+ Research competitive landscape and customer demands and explore market opportunities of electric actuator
+ Conduct market research and collect market/industry information for the Asia-Pacific region, including market segment sizes, industry dynamics, market trends, and regional regulations
+ Conduct competitive research for the Asia-Pacific region, including, competitor market share, product offering, and activities
+ Understand market segment trends through Voice of Customer analysis; visit customers regularly to gain insight into market needs. Determine unmet customer needs and translate into product requirements, regional or global
**Product Strategy & Roadmap**
+ Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for electric actuator products with BD team together.
+ Align the electric actuator product strategy with SBU team
+ Work closely with key accounts/customers on product requests and define product strategy related to electrical motion
**Project Management and Implementation**
+ Lead electric actuator partner projects, work with the suppliers of electric components(electric actuator, motor and drive etc.) together for buy-out products
+ Coordinate internal R&D, operation and QA team etc. to ensure project smooth implementation
+ Track the entire process of product testing, certification, mass production, and market promotion
**Go-to-Market**
+ Develop pricing, positioning, and promotional strategies of electric actuator for APAC markets
+ Provide product training and support for sales, channels, and customers
+ New electric actuator product(Rod Style/Rodless) promotion in APAC
**Cross departmental collaboration**
+ Collaborate with marketing team for electric actuator product promotion activities (exhibitions, online marketing etc.)
+ Optimize costs with the sourcing team to enhance product cost-effectiveness
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.
**Experience**
+ 5+ years in product management, preferably in electric cylinders, linear actuators, or motion control systems. With product manager/project management experience preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of servo motors, drive systems, and industrial automation.
+ Familiar with the core technologies of electric cylinders, such as servo motors, ball screws, guide rails, control systems, etc.
+ Experience preferred with Parker, Festo, SMC, THK or similar brands in linear motion.
+ Experience preferred in successfully leading the development of new electric cylinder products and achieving large-scale sales.
+ Familiarity with certifications like CE, UL, or RoHS
**Skills**
+ Proficient in using CAD/SolidWorks etc.
+ Excellent communication skills, able to coordinate technical teams and business departments.
+ Proficient in English

+ Adapt to short-term business trips (customer visits, exhibitions, etc.).
