Business Management - Associate

As an Associate within the Finance and Business Management team, you will provide essential support in executing J.P. Morgan’s strategy across the MENA region. You will collaborate with various lines of business and functional teams, assisting with analysis, reporting, and operational tasks to help drive business growth. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing business strategies across all lines of business, supporting the integrated country strategy in partnership with senior team membersHelp create presentations on franchise and country strategies to support decision-makingSupport the assessment of key client performance and analysis of country profitabilityAssist in building and monitoring the marketing budget, supporting marketing initiatives and event managementContribute to market analyses and help implement infrastructure and support models under the guidance of senior colleaguesHelp prepare business cases for new initiatives, coordinate integration efforts, and support cross-regional projectsLiaise with Compliance, Audit, and regulatory authorities, assisting with audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation plans as neededTrack and report P&L, expenses, and headcount for the MENA franchise, ensuring accurate monitoring and analysis of financial and operational metricsPrepare meeting materials, take minutes, and follow up on action items for the Local Management Committee; participate in governance forums as appropriateSupport governance and risk management activities in partnership with risk, legal, compliance, OTS, and control teamsUphold J.P. Morgan’s business principles and contribute to a healthy, inclusive working environment

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

3 years of experience in business management, strategy, or consulting within financial services Experience with direct exposure to, and a strong understanding of, the core commercial and investment banking business.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsEffective communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment with guidance from senior team membersProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointDetail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable team player with an eagerness to learn and develop project management skillsBasic understanding of risks, controls, and governance processesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Experience (including internships) in global banking or consultingFamiliarity with cross-regional project delivery and integration efforts is a plusExposure to working with senior management and diverse stakeholder groupsExperience with financial analysis tools is an advantage
