Our Commercial Strategy & Planning function helps to realise that ambition, bringing together three capabilities – Market Planning, Pricing and Analytics.

You will work on a diverse range of projects supporting across our commercial teams – Sales, Marketing, Product and Strategy:

Working with other Cirium colleagues to understand the best ways we can drive data-driven decision makingCollaborating with your team on the design of new Dashboards and  MS Power Apps  for our commercial teams to useWorking with commercial teams on rollout and implementation of new Dashboards and MS Power Apps to ensure great analytics turns into value creation for both Cirium and our customers.

You will be part of a small team of analysts with data visualization, automation, data engineering and data science skills, who will take guidance from, and work with, the Cirium Data & Analytics Lead.

You will also partner with experts across our diverse Data Services business, sharing best practices and benefiting from central team support to accelerate our progress.

Accountabilities:

Use skills in Data Engineering (primarily SQL) and Data Visualization (Power BI) to deliver high priority analyses, dashboards and process automation that enable our commercial teams to uncover insights more easily and be more productive - examples include:Creating and enhancing a “Customer 360” Power BI dashboard for Sales, Marketing and ProductDevelop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for Sales, Marketing, Product and One DSMonitor and tune Power BI performance, ensuring dashboards are accurate, responsive, and efficient.Write and optimize SQL queries for SF data driven tasksAdvise the wider team on ways to improve our customer data infrastructureSupport the wide Commercial Planning & Strategy team – your capabilities will be crucial to ensure sophisticated Pricing and Market Planning solutions are delivered.

Non-Negotiable Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree holderExperience working in roles requiring a high level of commercial awareness (e.g. part of a marketing, sales or product analytics team)Expertise working with Power BI or other Data Visualization tools. The type of things you will be doing in Power BI include:DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Writing calculated columns, measures, and complex business logic.Data Modelling: Understanding relationships, star/snowflake schemasExperienced in data transformation, shaping, merging, appending, and filtering to prepare datasets for analysis in Power BIDashboard & Report Design: Creating clean, intuitive, and interactive visualizations with filters, slicers, and tooltips.Performance Optimization: Efficient data models, minimizing DAX computation time, and optimizing data refreshes.Skilled in intermediate SQL (complex joins, subqueries, aggregations etc)Strong expertise in data visualization and optimizing user experiences – a passion and flair for good designStrong communication and relationship building skills – comfortable presenting to and engaging with senior audiences, discovering and defining requirements
