**Job Description Summary:**
The Business Intelligence intern will assist with a variety of technical tasks, gaining firsthand experience in various domains under the guidance of technical savvy professionals.
The main responsibilities will be monitoring and troubleshooting various PowerBI dashboards, SQL Server SSRS jobs, supporting application maintenance, contributing to software development using T-SQL/Phyton, Procedure/packages, views, and documenting the processes in BI Handbook.
The role includes internal testing of software application before releasing to QA. The intern will assist with moving the code to CI/CD pipelines and assist with cloud applications. The intern will get exposure to Palantir AI technology.
**Job Description:**
**Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)**
+ Collaborate with business analyst, assist in gathering and understanding business requirements
+ Develop/modify various reports (T-SQL, Python) under the guidance of an experienced developer
+ Creating and maintaining technical documentation, documenting the troubleshooting procedures, modify the processes after M&A
+ Monitor and document (PowerBI/SSRS) the job failures including data from online production to staged environment
+ Assist with various on-going projects, Develop/update, and review project plan with internal stakeholders
+ Adhere full SDLC (System Development Lifecycle) process, track obsolescence/release date of new products, stay abreast of modern technology
+ Troubleshoot/resolve technical issues and collaborate with SME (Subject Matter Expert) to apply code fixes

**Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
+ 0-2 years of SQL development experience on Microsoft products and programming languages (T-SQL, Python)
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite, exemplary general IT knowledge (applications development, deployment, testing, operations, documentation, standards, best practices, security)
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting technical issues.
+ Collaborate effectively with internal BI and project stakeholder.
+ Excellent time management, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
+ Develop project plan using MS tools – MPP, Excel and proficient in MS-Word, PowerPoint
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential
+ Knowledge of cloud-based environment (Azure, Snowflake) is a huge plus.
