SCOT's Regional team in Japan is seeking highly motivated individuals with exceptional data analytics skills and a passion for tackling intricate challenges. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to inform impactful business decisions that will enhance customer experience and contribute to long-term free cash flow growth. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of Amazon's systems and supply chain processes through collaboration with diverse teams across product, retail categories, finance, and operations.

In this role you will…

- Dive deep to create insights on how well Amazon is satisfying customer expectation as it relates to product availability and inventory levels
- Drive business changes through data insights to improve a wide range of internal products that impact planning, buying and sourcing.
- Develop improvements and invent new ways to look at data / trends via data and an internal worldwide customer portal.
- Interface with cross-functional teams to build centralized tools that will allow for rapid defect detection and repair.
- Explore/analyze data and work with Product Managers to understand customer behaviors, spot system defects, and benchmark our ability to serve our customers
