Reporting to the Manager, BI Architecture and Advanced Analytics, the **Business Intelligence Architect** will work collaboratively with business stakeholders and the Global Data Governance (GDG) team to serve Hach’s current and future data needs with a focus on designing, implementing, and continuously improving our BI infrastructure.
This position is located in **Poland** or **Romania** and will be remote.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
+ Design, implement, and continuously optimize Hach’s end-to-end Business Intelligence architecture and semantic data models.
+ Manage and optimize the Power BI / Microsoft Fabric environment, including Fabric capacity planning and performance tuning.
+ Develop and optimize complex DAX measures and data models to support scalable, high-performance analytics.
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders and Global Data Governance to ensure data quality, compliance, and actionable insights.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Advanced expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including semantic modeling and capacity management.
+ Strong proficiency in DAX, with proven experience optimizing complex calculations on large datasets.
+ Solid experience with Azure-based data platforms (SQL Server data warehouses) and data modeling best practices.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a customer-focused and self-driven mindset.
