Business Intelligence Analyst (Pharma Data)

About the Role

Join our team as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where you will be responsible for data investigation, query resolution, data transformations, and delivering valuable insights to the business. This role supports internal stakeholders and clients by analyzing pharmaceutical data, resolving data-related questions, and ensuring high-quality, reliable information for decision-making.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys deep-diving into data, solving complex questions, and working closely with business teams in a pharmaceutical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform data investigation to analyze business questions and resolve data-related inquiries.

Resolve client and internal stakeholder queries by analyzing and validating data.

Extract relevant information and datasets to support case reviews and investigations.

Perform data transformations and validations using SQL to ensure data accuracy and usability.

Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within pharmaceutical datasets.

Build impact assessments and analytical outputs that support business decisions.

Translate business requirements into clear reporting and analysis specifications.

Produce and maintain datasets and reports using SQL and reporting tools.

Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation and audits.

Work with standalone data systems and enterprise tools to support data inquiries, validation, and trend analysis.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.

Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector (required).

Intermediate English proficiency. (B1-B2 level)

Experience working with pharmaceutical metrics and industry KPIs.

Intermediate knowledge of databases, SQL, and Excel.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate data and resolve complex questions.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate findings clearly.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

Experience supporting client-facing analytics or consulting engagements.

Familiarity with enterprise reporting tools and large-scale data environments.

Knowledge of healthcare or life sciences data models.
