THE JOB

Having recently unlocked increased data availability with Zooplus, we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-orientated Business Intelligence (BI) Lead to join our team. The BI Lead exists to translate data into commercial insight, ensuring our sales strategies, customer engagement and execution plans are informed by robust analytics that translate into mutual growth and enhanced retailer partnership. The BI Lead acts as a strategic enabler for the broader Zooplus team and offers both a rare and exciting opportunity to build something from the ground up with a major European retailer. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of data and a passion for problem solving. 

What would be your key responsibilities?

Translating business needs into data requirements and BI solutions by:

Supporting the definition and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with stakeholders to understand business goals.Helping to gather and integrate data from different sources (e.g., Zooplus, 1CPL, and internal systems) to build reliable reports and dashboards.Assisting in maintaining BI tools and documentation so stakeholders can easily access and use available insights.Monitoring data quality and helping flag issues to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.Learning from and collaborating with more experienced colleagues in BI and analytics to continuously improve skills and contribute to team success.

Using data to support insights and actions through:

Supporting the tracking and reporting of key business metrics to ensure visibility of performance against Zooplus and Mars objectives.Assisting in identifying risks and opportunities by gathering and analyzing data, contributing to reports and summaries for the wider team.Preparing clear and concise presentations of findings to help stakeholders understand business performance.Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to ensure insights are applied in day-to-day commercial activities.Contributing to a team culture of curiosity and continuous learning by proactively looking for trends and sharing observations.

What are we looking for?

Must Haves:

2-3 years relevant work experience.Fluent in English, additional languages a benefit.Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint.A strong analytical and detail-orientated mindset.Powerful problem-solving capabilities, with track record of using data to solve business problems.Ability to manage multiple and complex data sources.Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.Fantastic communicator.

Preferred:

Experience in sales / MS&D / analyst role.Experience leading and collaborating with cross functional teams.Experience with Visualisation to develop analytical insight (PowerBi, Web App, Tableau).SQL experience in data querying.Experience with Power Pivot.Experience in Transformation or Change Management when developing new way of work.Project/Product Management experience (participating if not leading).
