Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $54,200.00 - $81,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and nimble Business Intelligence Analyst I to join the vAuto Business development team.  This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the vAuto business by supporting the Analytics Manager in conducting exploratory analyses and developing reporting frameworks that enhance stakeholder decision-making through data-driven insights.

Understand business objectives and prioritiesGather requirements and build self-service analytics tools for easy-to-use insights by applying advanced analytics methodologiesTurn quantitative analysis into an easy-to-understand story with recommendations and/or next steps

Build SQL queries that are purposeful, efficient, and reusableAnalyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-makingReview data for inconsistencies or anomalies that could skew analytical resultsSupport components of larger projects with direct manager involvement

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years experience in a related field ​Intermediate Snowflake and SQL code development skillsCapable of synthesizing complicated data and analyses into a coherent and consistent story that easily digestibleCommunication and presentation skills to curate messages based on both technical and non-technical audiences.Has an ownership mindset, taking accountability for driving resultsBe motivated to constantly improve and identify opportunities for efficiencyDetail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.Must be able to work core Eastern Standard Time hoursAble to travel up to 5% of the time (approximately 1 trip/yr)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge with AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT is a plusVisualization tool development experience is a plus (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, DOMO)Experience with forecasting or applying statistical methods to analyses is a plus
