Job Description:
Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer - SME
Provide technical BI Tool/User Access end user support for an enterprise level data warehouse project.
Responsibilities may include:
Understanding the existing data models.
Understanding customers' reporting needs.
Analyzing the data provided to assess if the data meets customers' needs.
Evaluating and/or recommending changes to the data model(s).
Suggesting data views based on users' needs.
Assisting customers with accessing data in a Hadoop data lake and/or Greenplum database via a BI reporting tool.
Conducting studies/pilots associated with ASG-Rochade, Tableau, Informatica, and Greenplum, and/or other metadata tools.
Development of user documentation and guidelines.
Development of presentation material.
Skills Requirements:
Skills Required:
At least 5 years hands- on experience with Informatica.
Hands-on experience with data warehouse/business intelligence reporting environment.
Working knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), data modeling or data warehouse concepts.
Additional Desired Skills:
Experience with working with Federal Government clients.
Experience with Tableau BI and Analytics tools.
Proficiency with Oracle and Greenplum database technology.
Development experience in delivering Informatica ETL/database/programming solutions in a data warehouse environment with multiple data marts using associated tools.
Familiarity with ASG-Rochade metadata software.
Experience working with Hadoop and accessing HIVE tables is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree with 11 years of experience.
