**Job Description**
**AECOM** is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to be based in **San Diego, CA.**
+ Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports primarily using Microsoft Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and usability for various business stakeholders.
+ Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks, including data cleaning and validation, to ensure data integrity and reliability for reporting purposes.
+ Collaborate closely with business users across departments (e.g., Project Managers, PM Supervisors/Project Leads, various other business entities) to understand their data needs, define requirements, and deliver analytical solutions that address key business questions.
+ Translate complex data into clear, concise, and compelling visual stories and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences through various platforms including SharePoint and Excel.
+ Support ongoing data analysis efforts by identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities within datasets to provide actionable insights.
+ Ensure data governance and best practices are followed in all reporting and dashboard solutions.
+ Assist Project Managers in leveraging project data and provide support with scheduling needs and questions.
+ Provide support for basic SharePoint administration tasks, such as managing user permissions and groups.
+ Conduct basic data entry tasks and assist with compiling reports using Microsoft Excel and similar software tools.
+ Review, compare, and critique monthly compliance reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with department program objectives.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:
+ BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Working in an Education construction environment.
+ 2+ years working with BI reporting and advanced project controls skills
+ Ability to work on a high functioning team
**Additional Information**
Sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $115,000.00 - $145,000.00.
