ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Planning Manager for the NoLa Cluster is responsible for driving the consolidation and review of the financial performance of the Cluster; delivers financial support and analysis to Commercial business areas.
This position leads a team that plays a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate and insightful analyses, managing cost structures, driving excellence in enabling financial planning cycles across the Cluster, and supporting decision-making process.
This role requires strong communicational and analytical skills, ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders in a dynamic multi market environment and proactively work with share services global model.
RESPONSABILITIES – Core components
Ensure financial support and coordination process for the Cluster for forecasting (Latest Estimates, Monhtly reviews), budgeting (including budget phasing) and long-range planning (Operating Plan). Consolidated revision of Risks & Opportunities, VEP (Volume/Price) analysis, Need-To-Meet and Run Rate analyses, as well as other supplemental requirements.Lead the process to review monthly Revenue and P&L analyses and variance commentary, to submit executive commentary and performance assessments on a consolidated view for the clusterResponsible for end-to-end budgeting & forecasting payroll expenses for business, control execution & HC control.Closely work with Business Finance Center and other share services to ensure financials processAct as a single point of contact, providing finance support for all keys areas outside management reporting such as restructuring, cost center management, business casesControl of execution of the operating Plan (OP), reporting and explaining variations vs. Plan.Support cost center structures alignmentEnsure accuracy and integrity of financial forecasting and reporting.Coordinate with share service DS COE the costs analysis, follow up and write offs estimation with logistics team.Coordinate team’s responsibilities to deliver with high quality standardsMonitor proper management of financial resources from Pfizer under the guidelines of the financial plans and in accordance with corporate policies (promotional investment, etc).Ensure P&L reflects the business reality (accruals, expenses, revenues, risks), ensuring proper timely booking of business transactions.Approve specific accruals according to Policy.Prepare information and financial reports for local and corporate presentations.Close follow up on revenues performance, G2N & VEP analysis, expenses, obsolescence, and payroll for businessRESPONSABILITIES – Capabilities & Qualifications
Strong financial and business analytical skills and a proven ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives.Strong ability to coordinate multiple and time-sensitive requests, to work with multiple stakeholders. Ability to meet all key deliverables of Business Partnering through prioritization and demand management.Excellent communication, collaboration and influence skills and strong interpersonal skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly advance Excel and PowerPoint, financial modelingBachelors required. MBA/Master in Finance or related areas.8+ years of progressive experience as business partner, FP&A, projects leadingSuperior verbal/written communication skills (English fluency)Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomesOTHER INFORMATION
