Job Description

The Business Finance Manager leads the financial planning and analysis processes and requirements across businesses supported. Provides financial guidance in compliance with financial policies, prepares management analysis of actual vs. benchmark results, provides business decision support and leads key projects and initiatives to improve financial processes. The Business Finance Manager interacts with all levels of finance and business stakeholders. Provides required planning deliverables to meet AbbVie Corporate FP&A requirements. Critical to the success in this role will be the job holder’s ability to build positive working relationships where he/she can challenge and contribute as a ‘business person’ as well as a finance practitioner.

Financial Planning and Analysis

Work closely with the Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia Commercial managers, prepare and develop annual Plan, Long Range Plan and Lastest Best Estimate as required, including P&L/PPL, headcount, using appropriate planning systems for the Allergan Aesthetics.Work with the Senior Finance Manager and CSEE Leadership Team to prepare and present to Greater Europe Region management the LBEs, Plans and LRPs of the CSEE Region.Challenge and evaluate all business projections and forecasts for accuracy, acceptability and conformance to strategic objectives, understand the underlying assumptions and the variability of key business drivers.With the CSEE Country Manager and CSEE Leadership Team, identify risks and opportunities in achieving quarterly and full year objectives, including developing contingency plans and implementing actions to ensure divisional margin objectives are achieved.Provide country management with relevant variance analysis for each planning cycle including commentary and develop meaningful management reporting schedules for both sales and costs. Support country management in the formulation of action plans to develop opportunities or correct deviations.Maintain and develop reporting together with management of sales and operational budgets to support country and regional commercial teams, particularly:Forecasting of sales for both in-market and ex-factory sales.Forecasting of costs including monthly control.

Business Planning and Partnering

Become a trusted business partner to the CSEE Region and Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia Leadership Teams, providing effective management reporting, analysis and insights (e.g. variances vs Plan, LBE, LRP, Prior Year).Develop expense trackers for the management of spend and achievement vs LBEs and Plan.Collaborate and provide routine business support to enable informed decision-makingSupport key projects and initiatives (e.g. planning system standardization, management reporting and optimization) and drives process improvements.Ensure financial results are recorded in compliance with AbbVie financial policies (CFM’s), Sarbanes Oxley and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Recommend and drive control process improvementsProvide financial reviews and approvals (purchase order requests and invoices).Support the business (Sales Marketing Manager) to prepare and submit Demand forecast
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferredMinimum 3 years of progressive and related experienceAbility to communicate professionally in EnglishProficient Excel skillsVery good Power Point skillsKnowledge of SAPKnowledge of SAC reporting system is a plusStrong financial, analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh degree of accuracy with an extremely good attention to detailAbility to identify and implement process improvementsAbility to build positive working relationships where challenge and contribution is the normAble to work independently as well as part of a teamExperience of working in cross functional teamsResponsive and proactive
