ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Business Expert to lead data quality and search relevance for Elevate4, our enterprise search platform. In this role, you will help ensure that product data and product attributes are accurate, complete, consistent, enriched, and normalized so they can power strong discovery experiences across Search, Browse, and Recommendations.
You will work across systems including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Product Data Hub (PDH), Product Information Management (PIM), and Digital Curation Tool (DCT), helping improve how product data flows, how it is structured, and how it supports relevant and intuitive customer experiences. This is a backend-focused role centered on the data, logic, and platform capabilities behind discovery, rather than ownership of experience layers. Ranking will also be in scope where needed to strengthen overall discovery performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Business Expert, you will lead and improve data quality and search relevance for Elevate4, our enterprise search platform. You will help ensure that product data and product attributes are accurate, complete, consistent, enriched, and normalized so they can power strong discovery experiences across Search, Browse, and Recommendations.
You will...
Own and improve the quality of product data and product attributes that power Search, Browse, and Recommendations in Elevate4.
Build strong expertise in how product data flows across Elevate4 and connected systems, including AEM, PDH, PIM, and DCT, and identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
Drive improvements in product attribution, enrichment, normalization, search relevance, and intent understanding so data, attributes, business rules, and supporting signals work together to deliver accurate and intuitive discovery experiences.
Support ranking improvements across Search, Browse, and Recommendations, while guiding stakeholders on questions related to product relevance and ranking across key discovery pages.
Partner closely with Data Analysts, product teams, business stakeholders, third-party vendors and regional teams to evaluate impact, refine requirements, align business needs, and translate them into scalable and sustainable solutions.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Relevance & Ranking team, working closely with Data Analysts, product teams, business stakeholders, third-party vendors, and regional teams. In this role, you will be a key business partner for product data quality, search relevance, ranking-related topics, and platform improvements, helping translate business needs into clear requirements and scalable ways of working.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with…
Strong experience working with product data, data quality, data enrichment, and normalization in a digital commerce, search, or product discovery environment.
Experience with Elevate4, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Hybris, or similar platforms, along with familiarity with product data ecosystems and cross-system data flows.
Strong understanding of how product data quality and product attributes influence Search, Browse, and Recommendations, including search relevance and intent understanding.
Familiarity with ranking concepts, taxonomy, normalization, indexing, customer intent, data quality, and relevance signals.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
And people who are…
Comfortable working in complexity and confident navigating ambiguity.
Motivated by improving how data and search work together to create better customer experiences.
Able to bring clarity to cross-system challenges and turn uncertainty into actionable goals and plans.
Collaborative, structured, and able to build trusted relationships across technical, business, and regional teams.
Curious, proactive, and focused on continuous improvement and sustainable ways of working.
