**JOB SUMMARY**
Support the development & implementation of Johnson & Johnson Production System to deliver Best in Class performance through a highly engaged workforce. Working cross functionally play a leading role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement to achieve sustainable high standards of manufacturing performance. Lead and deliver projects to support the business needs of the site
**Duties & responsibilities**
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Measure, analyses, design, and implement sustainable manufacturing and business process improvements that optimize capacity, reduce lead-time, minimize inventories, maximize fill-rates, maximize process flow, and maximize productivity.
+ Actively encourage, promote and facilitate implementation of innovative solutions to ensure quality while delivering lower costs and shorter lead times
+ Delivery & ownership of projects to support business needs
+ Leading the embedding & sustaining of the ‘Managing Site Performance’ business process standard on site.
+ Facilitate value stream mapping activities.
+ Conduct Production capacity analysis for each value stream
+ Facilitate the sustainment of 6S standards throughout the site
+ Ensure all transformation changes are conducted to the highest standards in a safe, compliant, and effective manner
+ Provide support to manufacturing as required to meet the business targets and objectives; ensuring the plant processes operate at optimum
+ Work with the New Product Introductions Group to ensure lean principles are considered in the early phases of new product and process design
+ Apply a Lean philosophy throughout the site by supporting, mentoring and coaching employees in increasing their understanding and knowledge of Lean principles and techniques
+ Maximize the involvement of employees in process improvements
+ Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
+ Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
+ For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
+ Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
+ Performs other duties assigned as needed
**Experience and education**
**Required:**
+ A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering / Manufacturing or related technical field.
+ Role generally requires 3-5 years’ experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment with working knowledge of World Class Manufacturing & Lean Manufacturing
+ Experience delivering Process Improvement Initiatives with demonstrated business impacts
+ Demonstrated experience in Process capacity analysis and Modelling
**Desirable:**
+ Lean Green/Black Belt Certification
+ Project Management certification
+ Certified to Root Cause Problem Solving methodology
+ Working knowledge of highly regulated medical device industry
+ Supervisory management qualification

+ Excellent presentation and communication abilities
+ Knowledge and application of Lean principles, tools, and methodologies
