This pivotal role is at the heart of our mission to shape our customer journey from first contact to rollout at scale, and deploy production solutions with customers and partners, driving innovation and differentiation through digital excellence and collaboration.
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Business Excellence Professional to serve as the right hand to the team leader. This role is pivotal in representing the team across leadership circles, driving executional excellence, and translating strategic vision into actionable outcomes. The Chief of Staff will operate at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and stakeholder alignment—ensuring the team’s contributions are visible, impactful, and integrated with the broader organization.

You’ll make an impact by:
Leadership Representation & Strategic Communication
Represent the team leader in: Zone Leadership Meetings (e.g., America Zone Technology focus) US Country Leadership Meetings (focused on unlocking strategic opportunities through differentiation) Internal Team Leadership Circles Advocate for the team’s mission, vision, and contributions in these forums. Translate strategic discussions into clear, actionable insights for the team and serve as a visible ambassador of the team’s impact across Siemens leadership circles.Executional & Process Excellence
Drive executional discipline and process rigor across the team, aligned with our engagement model and customer journey. Foster team cohesion and ensure strong adhesion to the broader organization, avoiding siloed behavior. Support and coach the team in becoming a cohesive execution engine: Identify and eliminate delivery bottlenecks, design scalable processes that increase efficiency and clarity, and improve communication across functions.Program & Project Management
Own and manage complex end customer projects with end-to-end accountability. Transition into overseeing multiple interconnected programs aligned with strategic business goals. Apply Agile/Lean methods to scale executional discipline, streamline delivery, and accelerate outcomes. Optimize resource allocation and stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams, improve delivery flow.OKR & Business Target Management
Own and manage the team’s OKR framework, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Ensure transparency in business targets, pipeline health, and contribution to revenue-driving activities. Support reporting and management requests with timely, accurate updates.Technology Strategy & Customer Insight
Collaborate with the team leader and technology leadership in the team to shape and articulate the technology vision and strategy at both zone and country levels. Gather and synthesize customer insights to inform strategic priorities and differentiation efforts.Stakeholder Management & Organizational Planning
Navigate complex stakeholder relationships across internal and external partners. Contribute to organizational planning, including team meetings, workshops, onboarding, and interface alignment. Drive executional urgency, alignment, and momentum across diverse teams.Strategic Steering & Gap Identification
Observe project status and team dynamics to identify strategic gaps. Help steer and react to emerging challenges, ensuring the team remains aligned and impactful.Team Influence & Growth
Mentor and coach team members, building high-performance habits and execution discipline. Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Lead change management and scale practices that create organizational momentum.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science or IT with focus on fields relevant to DI e.g. automation, simulation, AI/ML. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing processes and production operations in manufacturing industries incl. Electronics, Semiconductor, Food & Beverage, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Battery, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, involving machine builders and end users. 10+ years of Program Management, orchestrating cross-functional teams across the organization to deliver solutions incl. R&D, Product Portfolio Management, General Management, Sales, Vertical, Business Development, Marketing, Finance organizations. Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in strategic roles supporting senior leadership. Strong communicator with the ability to distill complex topics and influence across levels. Operationally disciplined with a bias for execution and process rigor. Technically fluent and able to engage in strategic technology discussions. Collaborative mindset with a passion for customer success and team development. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The pay range for this position is $126,980 - $217,680 annually with a target incentive of 20 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
