This role combines operational leadership and vendor management with proactive compliance risk assessment, policy interpretation, and oversight—partnering closely with HCC, Medical Affairs, Finance, Procurement, Commercial and Legal—to operationalize compliant business practices and drive continuous process improvement. **Compliance & Risk Management** + Operationalize review and oversight of value transfers involving HCPs/HCOs (advisory boards, consulting, steering committees, speaker engagements, fellowships, medical education grants, sponsorships, and other learning activities) to ensure alignment with company policy, IMC code standards, and Health Canada guidance. + Perform risk assessments, recommend mitigation actions, and advise business partners on potential compliance risks and corrective plans. + Document, escalate, and approve deviations from SOPs when necessary; collaborate with internal teams to develop corrective action plans and track closure. **Operational Leadership & Vendor Management** + Lead end-to-end project and program management for Medical & Commercial activities (advisory boards, OLAs, symposia, speaker programs, conferences), including project briefing, vendor selection, SOW/MSA oversight, PO/contract administration, and budget execution support. + Serve as subject matter expert for vendor management—selection, contracting, performance oversight and preferred vendor lifecycle management. + Establish and maintain project briefs, timelines, budgets, and milestone tracking; ensure workstreams meet governance and compliance requirements. **Process Improvement & Governance** + Design, implement, and maintain tracking mechanisms, dashboards and controls to monitor compliance and operational performance; lead continuous process improvements driven by root cause analysis. + Lead revisions to reference documentation and SOPs to reflect evolving regulatory and internal policy requirements and operational best practices. + Coordinate with HCC to update internal guidance and training materials based on regulatory or process changes. + Utilize root cause analysis to guide process improvement **Training, Education & Stakeholder Enablement** + Collaborate with HCC to assess compliance knowledge gaps and deliver training programs for Medical Affairs teams, commercial partners, vendors and other stakeholders. + Provide practical policy guidance to business partners to enable compliant program design and execution. **Monitoring, Reporting & Governance Oversight** + Prepare and present regular monitoring and compliance reports to HCC, Medical Affairs & Commercial leadership . + Support investigations, oversight activities, and follow-ups arising from monitoring, audits or escalations. **Relationship Management & Strategic Partnership** + Act as a trusted partner to Therapeutic Area Business Partners, Medical Directors, Procurement, Finance, Legal and external vendors to drive aligned solutions that meet business and compliance requirements. + Participate in departmental and cross functional meetings representing Medical Affairs and Business excellence interest. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Healthcare, Ethics & Compliance, or related field. + · Experience: Minimum 2 years in the healthcare industry with direct exposure to Health Care Compliance + programs, company HCC policies, Health Canada guidance/regulations, and IMC code requirement + Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, MBA, or equivalent) or advanced certification in healthcare/compliance/regulatory affairs. · + CCEP accreditation or equivalent compliance certification. + Experience developing and implementing compliance program elements in line with organizational risk profiles. + Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or demonstrated project management expertise. + Proficiency in French (reading and writing). **Required:** + 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of Health Care Compliance programs and policies, Health Canada guideline/policies, and IMC code requirements required. + Consistent track record of working in a collaborative environment with demonstrated evidence of maintaining. + Relationships and partnerships with peers and business partners. + Broad business experience and a proven ability to influence business decisions and business partners. + Demonstrated ability to analyze data and trends and communicate complex information to all levels of the company required. + Qualified candidates will have an engaging and personable demeanor; be self-directed, detail-oriented, and motivated; demonstrate a high level of accountability, leadership, and decisiveness and the ability to prioritize, and execute on multiple and frequently changing priorities. + Experience working in a matrix environment to deliver solutions which drive compliant growth. + Other key skills include attention to detail, being able to work optimally within a team, and able to prioritize tasks. + Demonstrated experience in Medical Affairs operations, vendor/contract management, and financial/budget oversight for educational or advisory activities. + Proven ability to perform compliance risk assessments, recommend mitigation actions, and operationalize corrective action plans. + Strong stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing business decisions in a matrixed environment. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
