Business Development Specialist
**Job Overview** As a **Business Development Specialist** , you play a key role in supporting commercial growth by preparing, managing and optimizing client contracts. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure contractual accuracy, compliance and efficient execution, while also contributing to smooth operational coordination within the CES department. This role combines **contractual expertise (±70%)** with **operational coordination (±30%)** , offering a dynamic position at the crossroads of business, legal and operations. **Key Responsibilities** **Client Contracting & Commercial Support** + Manage and develop local client contracts for the CES department, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Local Service Agreements (LSAs), proposals and work orders. + Participate in client discussions related to contractual terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and internal policies. + Draft, review and validate contract language, clearly understanding its commercial and legal impact. + Monitor the full contract lifecycle, from creation and negotiation through to execution and activation. **Risk Management & Best Practices** + Proactively identify contractual risks or issues that could impact the organization and escalate them to the appropriate internal stakeholders. + Apply and promote best practices in contract management and governance. + Support continuous improvement by implementing new or improved contract processes and ensuring clear communication across the organization. **Stakeholder Collaboration & Operational Coordination** + Act as a trusted partner to internal teams (business, legal, finance, operations) and client representatives on contractual and business-related matters. + Provide practical, innovative solutions within approved parameters to enable smooth contracting and operational delivery. + Coordinate operational aspects as required to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction. **What You Bring** **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). + Minimum **4 years of relevant experience** in contract management, business development support or a similar role. **Expertise & Skills** + Solid understanding of contract processes, contract language and their business implications. + Ability to draft and modify contractual clauses with confidence and attention to detail. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. + Strong follow‑up skills, responsiveness and a solutions‑oriented mindset. + Business acumen and the ability to understand and support organizational objectives. **Why This Role?** This position offers the opportunity to work in a **highly collaborative, international environment** , where your contractual expertise directly supports business growth and client success.
