We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to expand our public works client base. The ideal candidate will analyze RFQs/RFPs, identify bid requirements, track procurement opportunities, manage submissions, and maintain client relationships. Success in this fast-paced, deadline-driven role requires strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze RFQs/RFPs and identify bid requirements.
+ Track procurement opportunities and manage submissions.
+ Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
+ Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in business development, proposal coordination, or sales (construction/public works preferred).
+ Strong ability to read, interpret, and comprehend RFQs and RFPs.
+ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
+ Excellent written communication skills for producing professional documents.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
+ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client meetings and events as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior experience with public contracting and bidding processes.
+ Familiarity with procurement portals and public bid systems.
+ Knowledge of construction industry terminology and project delivery methods.
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite with working hours from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Clarita, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
