We’re looking for a Business Development Representative in the industrial fluids industry.
Our client is a Canadian leader in high-performance industrial lubricants, metalworking fluids, cleaners, and water treatment solutions serving manufacturing and heavy industry. They help clients improve efficiency, extend equipment life, and optimize performance through customized technical solutions. This is a true business development role — ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives on prospecting, opening new doors, and closing deals in industrial markets.
Business Development Representative responsibilities: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across manufacturing, processing, and industrial sectors Prospect and cold call to generate leads and build a strong pipeline of new customers Conduct site visits to assess operations and recommend tailored technical solutions Present and demonstrate products including lubricants, metalworking fluids, and water treatment systems Collaborate with technical and service teams to support solution delivery Manage the full sales process from initial contact to close The successful candidate has: Proven experience in industrial B2B sales, preferably in lubricants, metalworking fluids, or water treatment A strong hunter mentality — motivated by new business and growth targets Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Technical aptitude and ability to understand process-driven environments Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related technical field Willingness to travel regularly within the territory Compensation and benefits: Base salary of $90,000 – $110,000, depending on experience Performance-based incentives with significant earning potential Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for professional growth with a respected Canadian industry leader Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
