How do we do this? By securing critical systems in government, law enforcement, infrastructure and enterprise.
About the Role
The Business Development Representative is responsible for for driving top-of-funnel activity, creating qualified sales opportunities for the Account Executive team. You will serve as the first point of contact for potential customers of Thales CDI, representing the brand, identifying potential clients, and understanding their business and security needs.
This is a targeted role, and you will be measured on achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You must be comfortable operating independently within a supportive team, as well as making outbound phone calls to prospects.
Utilising a strong understanding of Thales CDI’s value proposition for Data Security and Application Security, some key responsibilities of the role are to:
Conduct high quality outbound prospecting via phone, email, and other tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, to generate qualified leads
Follow up on marketing-generated leads and run discovery calls to identify fit and interest.
Schedule and qualify meetings for Account Executives in territory
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce
Collaborate with marketing to support demand generation campaigns and events
Track engagement metrics, continuously optimising messaging and cadence strategy
About You
To be successful in the role, you will ideally demonstrate:
Sound understanding of the Cybersecurity, SAAS, or technical market in Australia
Some experience in sales or business development, with a track record of delivering sales results in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer focus and customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly and effectively articulate purpose and value proposition
Attention to detail and high-quality data entry skills
Ability to build cross functional relationships to drive outcomes within the internal organisations
High level of integrity, good judgment, and independent decision making
Experience using Salesforce, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator would be helpful
