Description We are looking for a driven and goal-oriented Business Development Representative to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. In this role, you will focus on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships, and driving growth by connecting potential clients with innovative solutions. The position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within regulated markets while working collaboratively with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research on competitors, industry trends, and consumer behavior to identify potential business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain organized lists of high-quality leads based on customer personas and target audience demographics.
• Reach out to prospects through various channels, effectively communicating the value of the company's payment solutions.
• Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure smooth transitions of leads and scheduled meetings.
• Provide detailed insights on prospects’ needs and pain points to support the sales team in closing deals.
• Attend networking events—both virtual and in-person—to build strong relationships and expand market knowledge.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities, emerging trends, and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
• Record outreach activities and lead interactions accurately in the designated system, ensuring consistent tracking and reporting.
• Meet or exceed performance metrics related to lead generation and prospect engagement. Requirements • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen to client needs and tailor messaging accordingly.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed records of outreach activities and tracking progress towards goals.
• Familiarity with business development strategies and an understanding of market dynamics.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
• Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation within a business development capacity.
• A results-driven mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving industry trends.
