As our newest Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for  spearheading the expansion of our equipment sales funnel. Imagine yourself at the forefront of innovation, harnessing the power of outbound and digital resources to drive unprecedented growth. As a vital extension of our Regional Sales teams, you'll be pivotal within our journey to uncover, cultivate, and champion new business opportunities within the HACH Portfolio. The geographic territory initially covers the Eastern Cape & Northern Cape region, however this is subject to change based on business requirements

Promote territory growth by identifying potential customers and creating new business opportunities in collaboration with the sales team.Leverage the power of digital resources to qualify, support, and pinpoint potential customers engaging with HACHManage a robust growth funnel pipeline, setting appointments, nurturing leads, and charting progress towards exceeding sales goals.Prepares and presents monthly forecasts by accurately managing opportunities.

The essential requirements of the job include:

At least 3 years of experience preferably in the analytical instrumentation industry as a business development / sales associatePreferred degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or similar – however this is not essentialExcellent English written and verbal communication skillsTeamwork and ability to work across Cultures, Countries, Locations, and business teamsWillingness and flexibility to travel long distances and lodge away from home 5-10 nights a monthMust have own vehicle with Code B license
