For Siemens Mobility, Rail Infrastructure in Beijing, we are looking for Business Development Officer to shape the connected Mobility with us.
What are your responsibilities?
• Transparency: Create and analyze transparency with regards to the market/ policy trend, technology development, market dynamics; Monitor internal activities with regards to the relevant topics • Monitor the national and industry policies. Completes market and business research as well as competitor analysis. • Strategy and operation: Structure and define BU strategy in terms of localization, innovation, digitalization, and operational topics; Drive the implementation of the topics independently, including aligning with key stakeholders, defining tracking mechanism, monitoring implementation status • Performs long range strategic planning and analysis and prepares summaries, and/or performs operational activities enabling the exploitation of markets. • Performs analysis of strategic business segments, evaluates opportunities for new or existing Siemens’ products in new markets, channels or customer target groups. • Performs related tools to maintain data in system and have all data up to dates • Business development: Support on content level for collaboration/ promotion with external parties (e.g., opinion paper, MoU, sales presentation) • Responsible for BU communication tasks including BU news, award setup/evaluation/reward, exhibition organization, forum, etc.
What do you need to qualify for this job?
• Strong strategic & structural thinking skill and analytical skills • Capable of defining & driving strategic initiatives • Good communication/ presentation skill in both English and Chinese • Strong skill of using MS Office suites, especially PowerPoint and Excel • Background in market intelligence and competitor intelligence is preferred • Working experience in business development and strategy positions is preferred
