We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Officer to lead national growth of our full-stack retail technology portfolio. Drive end-to-end enterprise sales of Gatekeeper’s portfolio, including Purchek, face-matching video analytics, cart containment systems, theft deterrence platforms, and AI-enabled software solutions.Present technical solutions with clarity and business context, articulating how video analytics and facial recognition enhance safety, reduce loss, and provide measurable ROI.Cultivate and expand relationships across retail organizations—from asset protection and operations to legal, IT, and the C-suite.Lead complex sales processes from lead generation and discovery to proposal, proof-of-concept, and contract execution.Represent Gatekeeper at key trade shows, conferences, and customer events to build brand awareness and generate demand.Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to refine messaging, positioning, and customer feedback loops.Partner with the marketing team to execute targeted outreach campaigns, digital lead gen, and content strategies focused on retail tech innovation.Track pipeline performance and maintain up-to-date activity in CRM systems; deliver accurate forecasts to executive leadership.Lead POC engagements and ensure successful deployments with a high standard of ethical use, privacy protection, and client transparency.Stay on top of the competitive landscape and continuously identify ways to differentiate Gatekeeper in a crowded market.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Preferred candidates will have sales experience in one or more of the following sectors: national and regional retail chains (including grocery, big box, apparel, and electronics), commercial real estate and shopping centers, stadiums and event venues, transportation hubs, or public safety and law enforcement.Passion for technology with a strong understanding of security, data governance, privacy, and ethics in facial recognition.Executive presence with outstanding communication skills—able to sell both value and vision to a wide range of stakeholders.Hands-on, consultative approach to solution selling and customer engagement.History of exceeding revenue goals and scaling enterprise accounts across multiple regions.Highly organized, CRM-savvy, and data-drivenEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years experience is preferred; technical or business advanced degree a plus.5 years of success in B2B enterprise sales, ideally in retail technology, video analytics, security systems, AI software, or SaaS.Loss Prevention and Asset Protection experience as a decision maker.Experience with selling or implementing facial recognition, computer vision, CCTV analytics, or retail surveillance solutions.DISCLAIMER
