Seeking dynamic financial services sales professional with proven track record of success in recruiting and/or RIA custody sales. The successful candidate will be joining a seasoned team of consultative B2B sales experts who focus on large and complex advisors, independent broker dealer reps and trust/bank professionals.  You will partner with internal consultants to position Schwab’s platform, products, and people in an authentic and transparent manner and champion the fiduciary advice model and Schwab’s leadership position in the RIA industry.

 

 Attributes:

Comfortable engaging with a wide range of firms: traditional wirehouse teams, independent advisors, family offices, trust companies, large branches/OSJ’s and broker/dealersPassionate about the benefits of moving from traditional firms to the independent fiduciary model as represented by the modern RIA backed by the industry’s largest and most capable custodianDriven to be successful, with a demonstrated ability to develop a sales region using a disciplined approach to planning and implementing the required strategies and tacticsDeveloped network of industry contactsStrong executive presence – establishes credibility and speaks with authority and knowledge in the boardroom or via video conferenceLeadership skills – capable leader of cross-organizational teams (both internal and external), leverages diplomacy to move a process forward and helps team members feel supported & valuedA good fit with Schwab culture and seeing the business through our client’s eyes

 

 

 

What you have Our ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter; and have a proven ability to exceed quarterly goals as set by the company Bachelor’s degree required A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license A valid and active FINRA Series 63 license Must have at least 5 years of proactive sales experience in the financial services industry Must have at least 5 years experience recruiting advisors in RIA sales/financial services industry Demonstrated ability to manage complicated business-to-business sales situations Strong interpersonal skills, comprehensive industry knowledge, comfortable with new relationships and cold calling opportunities Substantial knowledge of competitor’s products, services, sales tactics and weaknesses 

 

In addition to the salary range posted, this role is also eligible for sales incentive/bonus opportunities

 

Base Salary- $135k-175K 

 

Location: San Francisco 

 

 

This position is eligible to earn commissions based on applicable Advisor Services sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies.
