In this role, youll lead client acquisition efforts, build long-term relationships with decision-makers, and develop tailored solutions to grow our presence in the greater Madison market.

Responsibilities:

Execute a strategic business development plan to grow our presence in the greater Madison areaIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and referral networksManage a pipeline of prospective clients, maintaining a focused outreach plan to meet and exceed goalsPromote Spherions full range of staffing services across target industries such as life sciences, industrial, insurance & financial services, and ITBuild strong relationships with business owners, executives, HR leaders, and hiring managers to understand their workforce challenges and offer consultative solutionsStay plugged into local labor market trends and business newsCollaborate with our recruiting team to ensure strong communication and exceptional service deliveryMaintain accurate sales records and pipeline activity in our CRMUphold organizational values in all communication and interactions

Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years of business development experience with a track record of success in relationship-based B2B sales, preferably in staffing & recruiting, HR solutions, or outsourced servicesMotivated self-starter with a competitive and enthusiastic attitudeComfortable selling to a variety of stakeholders, including executives, HR leaders, and operations managers across diverse industriesStrong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
