Business Development Manager Utilities Germany (m/f/d)
The Business Development Manager Utilities Germany is responsible for driving sales growth and profitability of Professional Tools products in the Utility Segment in Germany by working closely with local electrical utility companies, utility subcontractors and the related key channel partners. He/she builds the business plan for the specific region in close collaboration with key channel partners, based on market research and competitor analysis. He/she builds networks within the utility segment, offers product demonstrations, provides input to other departments and works closely together with the local sales teams. The function reports to the Head of Business Development in Europe. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Working closely with key utility/electrical distribution customers to understand their unmet needs, pain points and requirements to offer the best solutions from Professional Tools product portfolios. + Conducting all required field tests, building required specifications with key stake holders and coordinate / follow up end to end process to close sales loops. + Responsible for the direction, coordination, and growth of the focus industry through direct end customer contact and close collaboration with key channel partners. + Provides coaching and direction of Area Sales Managers and Sales Reps. + Develops and implements a strategic sales plan in collaboration with his supervisor to increase sales and profits for Professional Tools in the focus industry. + Customer facing, developing & owing relationships with Key Utility Customer and strategic channel partners + Performing product demonstrations, training & technical support with end users and channel partners + Provides Input to Product Management, Engineering & Product Specifications on new product needs and solutions to expand markets and share + Being the subject matter expert for the product, applications + Developing, presenting & executing annual business plans and monthly/yearly sales forecast **Who You Are:** You are responsible for driving sales growth and profitability.
