Business Development Manager Utilities Eastern Europe
The Business Development Manager Utilities leads all aspects of rapidly growing sales and improving profitability for Professional Tools items within the Utility Segment in Eastern Europe. The individual will work closely with local electrical utility companies, utility subcontractors, and the related key channel partner. The employee builds the business plan for the specific region in close collaboration with key channel partners, based on market research and competitor analysis. They build networks within the utility segment, offer product demonstrations, provide input to other departments, and work closely together with the local sales teams. The function reports to the Head of Business Development in Europe. **In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Working with crucial utility/electrical customers to identify their unmet needs and provide efficient solutions from our Professional Tools offerings. + Performing all necessary field tests, crafting necessary specifications with collaborators and coordinating/following up on the entire process to finalize sales loops. + Accountable for guiding, coordinating, and growing the focus industry by engaging directly with end customers and encouraging positive relationships with essential channel collaborators. + Provides coaching and direction of Area Sales Managers and Sales Reps. + Works with their supervisor to develop and implement a strategic sales strategy dedicated to growing sales and profits in the specified industry for Professional Tools. + Customer-facing, developing & owning relationships with Key Utility Customers and strategic channel partners + Performing product demonstrations, training & technical support with end users and channel partners + Provides Input to Product Management, Engineering & Product Specifications on new product needs and solutions to expand markets and share + Being the subject matter expert for the product, applications + Developing, communicating & performing annual business plans and monthly/yearly sales forecast + Preferably a technical degree or equivalent experience + Existing professional relationships and technical skills in the electrical utility market are a benefit. + Solid business insight, with ability to work both independently and as part of a team + Demonstrated success in formulating, presenting, executing, & measuring Business Plans + Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and fluent in English + Preferably located in Eastern Europe + Good presentation skills and capable of establishing good relations with customers at different levels. + Keen for new experiences, responsibility and accountability. + Willing to travel a minimum of 50% of the time + Preferably an engineering degree (mechanical or civil engineering) + Technical understanding of machines, new technologies and tools **Who You Are:** You are responsible for driving sales growth and profitability.
