We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our great team focusing on Consumer Business. We are looking for an experienced professional with can do attitude and drive to focus selectively on the biggest business opportunities and preferably with already established network within the industry. The professional we are looking will be part of the Nordic Consumer business team working closely with different stakeholders though our the organization. The job is based in 

Stockholm, Sweden.

 

Job description

Main responsibility of Business Development Manager is to follow the Nordic insurance market (focus on Sweden), identify new business opportunities, pitch our value proposition to prospects, bind new business and maintain good relationship with partners and brokers. The role is targeted to focus on Swedish market but will potentially support and operate also in other Nordic markets. 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Research and actively identify new business opportunities within the Swedish insurance market, focus on consumer business within Accident and Health, Travel and Special Personal Lines. 

Understand the need of the customer and build winning value proposition to pitch our products and services and bind new business

Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services 

Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business

Active account management for the won businesses in the Nordics including strategic development of the account

Contribute to our growth - hit and smash the set target for new business 

Who are we looking for?

We expect you to have a suitable degree (M.Sc / BBA) and at least 5 years of experience working in similar role with a successful track record of identifying new business opportunities. We hope you have experience in building long lasting client and broker relationship, nurturing and developing them and have knowledge of insurance products and the industry. Role requires excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills. 

 

We are a dynamic team and hope you are business minded and have hands-on way of working.  As a person you are open, proactive, target orientated and able to handle various tasks at the same time. You have analytical and tactical mindset and are collaborative by nature but are also able to work independently when required. You have strong communication skills and thrive with professional challenges. This position requires fluent good English and will require some traveling within the Nordics mostly.
