Your Role

Working in close partnership with the UK Sales Manager, this role will help shape and drive the Business Development strategy across the UK and Ireland for Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection properties in the LAC region. You will provide strategic direction, leadership, and market insight to guide UK Business Development Managers in maximizing awareness, sales, and revenue across all trade segments.

This is a highly strategic role requiring strong commercial acumen, deep market knowledge, and proven leadership capability. Success in this position relies on established relationships across the UK and Irish travel trade and the ability to translate strategy into measurable commercial results.

Your Responsibilities

Establish and execute the Business Development strategy to increase awareness and bookings from the UK and Irish markets, ensuring effective implementation through the UK Business Development Managers.Drive incremental revenue by strengthening existing partnerships and developing new strategic alliances across the UK and Irish travel trade.Own topline corporate budget management and tracking for all trade-related activity, including events and trade media marketing.Ensure consistent and effective use of Hyatt’s sales systems and tools across the team, including Salesforce and the HIC Travel Advisor Loyalty Programme.Coordinate team-wide FAM trips and event planning, ensuring alignment with Hyatt processes and standards.Develop and lead strategies for key growth segments including Direct, Luxury, Loyalty, and Weddings.Implement and effectively lead the UK Travel Advisory BoardAnalyse sales performance and KPIs, delivering clear insights and recommendations to senior leadership.Collaborate closely with global Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment across all UK and Irish commercial activity.

Previous experience in a management-level role.Strong knowledge of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection properties and the competitive landscape within the LAC region.Proven success driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships within the UK and Irish travel trade.Established relationships across key trade segments, including travel agents, tour operators, tourist boards, and trade media.Experience planning events, managing budgets, and coordinating multi-channel sales campaigns.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence presenting to large audiences.Strong analytical capability with the ability to independently gather, validate, and interpret sales data.Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.English required; Spanish preferred.
