Job Description

Peoplemark, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will sell Peoplemark services to customers and prospects within an assigned region.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and oversee new marketing and sales initiatives within assigned region to drive revenue growthResearch the latest trends in the industry, as well as organizations and individuals, to find new opportunities and expand businessActively work to increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones, in collaboration with Branch ManagerWork with and collaborate with the Branch Manager on current existing PM clients with respect to proposal and financial retention strategiesIdentify and develop new markets to improve sales for PeoplemarkAttend conferences, meetings, and industry eventsGenerate quotes and proposals for prospective clientsDevelop and achieve goals for the development of the Peoplemark businessWork with the Regional Director to develop strategic and tactical action plans for each new prospect or targeted client in assigned territoryPromote a strong understanding of the company and the services offered, as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalentSales training on strategic consultative selling techniquesMinimum of two (2) years of outside sales experience in a B2B environmentStrong experience strategically planning sales calls, sales presentations, cold calling, and closing dealsExperience using a formal and defined sales processProven track record of excellence in sales activity (awards, top rankings, etc.) using consultative sales techniques to succeedA true “hunter” utilizing personal relationships and technologies to drive explosive revenue growthStrong communication, organization, and writing skillsAbility to manage complex projects and successfully multi-taskDemonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented sales environment that allows for collaboration with the operations team, in order to identify and resolve issues and concernsHighly effective leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization, as well as manage difficult service delivery timeframesAbility to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertaintyAbility to travel throughout all areas of the territory, including some overnight travelMust possess valid drivers license and be able to drive to meetings, presentations, and events

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field of studyExperience in the staffing industry
